Q: How quickly will the VBEX heat my pool?
A: A VBEX heat pump will take anywhere from 12 hours to several days to heat your pool, depending on its size, starting temperature, ambient air temperature, and if you're using a swimming pool solar cover, which is 100% essential and significantly speeds up the process by reducing heat loss. 

Q: What size pool is this heat pump suitable for?
A: The VBEX 10kW model is designed for pools upto 75 m² surface area, but we would recommend that 40 to 50m³ is more appropriate and will make heating and maintain the pool a lot easier.

Q: Can I run this heat pump in winter?
A: Potentially. The VBEX has the capacity to heat your pool as it operates in ambient temperatures from -10°C to +43°C, with intelligent automatic defrost cycles when needed. However, efficiency drops significantly in cold weather. If you are looking to heat your pool for an extended season or longer please call or email us to make sure you can size the heater correctly

Q: Does the VBEX run off a standard plug?
A: The VBEX comes with a standard UK Plug and lead fitted so you can use this heat pump as a plug and play heat pump.
