We deliver all wood burning hot tubs already built so no install problem on delivery and ready to use straight away.
The Kirami Wood Burning Woody comes complete with a stove inside the hot tub which is loaded from the top. The stoves are manufactured from marine aluminium as it has been proven this is the best kind for barrel tubs. This is due to marine aluminium having a greater thermal conductivity than other materials such as steel. Our stoves have been carefully selected for each size tub to make sure maximum efficiently is produced without making it heat too slowly or fast!
The Woody Wood Burning Hot Tub uses spruce wood which is ideal for bath barrel like hot tubs. Like any wooden pool or spa it dries and contracts when it is out of use, but with the spruce wood it will swell again when filled so there is no need for silicone for sealing. When filled with water the barrel will swell in time to be water proof again, our wood burning hot tubs come complete with three treated planks on the underside but we would still recommend placing a few planks under the tub to ensure efficient air flow beneath the hot tub.
The ideal temperature for the wood burning spruce is around 36° degrees, from cold this would take approximately 2 hours to heat the water depending on outside temperature and quality of your firewood. To maintain a temperature you can keep a small fire burning in the stove when bathing, it is important to bare in mind that wood burning stove takes time to make an impact to the water, so it is better to add wood to the stove slowly so that you would not overheat the water. The best care for any wood burning hot tub is to use it and wash it regularly, another important thing is to make sure the is adequate air circulation underneath the tub. There is no problems using sea water in the tub as the stove is a manufactured of marine aluminium, the actual barrel itself works better with salt water as it keeps the moisture better and it slows down the dry out process.
Please note that all Lids and Steps units are available on Wood Burning Hot Tub, but must be brought at the same time of spa purchase.
