 Dura, Dura ECO and Dura+ Swimming Pool Heat Pumps
The Dura Swimming Pool Heat Pumps are extremely efficient and economical and a very environmentally friendly way of heating your pool. We supply three styles of Dura Heat Pumps. The Dura ECO range, the Dura and the Dura+Plus Heat Pumps. The Dura+ Plus range offer customers a swimming pool heat pump that will work in far lower temperatures and offers an all year round solution for heating your swimming pool. Ideal for Indoor Pools. The Dura standard range will comfortably heat Inground or even some above ground pools during the extended Summer Season. While the Dura ECO swimming pool heat pumps are designed for the permanent above ground pool, such as Doughboy, Vogue and Trevi. The Dura ECO heat Pumps will heat swimming pools for the Summer Season Only.
Swimming Pool Heat Pumps work by collecting the energy from the air outside and transferred to the pool water using the same technology that is used in air-conditioning units and fridges. For each single kW used by the Dura or Dura+ Plus heat pump, between 4 to 5 kW are returned to the pool as heat.
The Dura swimming pool heat pump has to be installed outside but will even work with outside temperatures as low as -5°C, though the efficiency will obviously be affected. The Dura+ range will work to temperatures as low as -10. This will allow the DURA+ PLUS range of swimming pool heat pumps to function ALL YEAR ROUND. Making them an ideal swimming pool heat pump for indoor pools.
Dura swimming pool heat pumps are less harmful to the environment than other forms of "On Demand" heating because 80% of the energy produced is collected from the ambient air around the Duratech Heat Pump and therefore very "Green". Also the gas used in the Dura Swimming Pool Heat Pump, R407C, has no harmful effect on the ozone layer.

Using high quality materials in the build of the Dura Heat Pump and Titanium heat exchanger means it is practically "Bullet-Proof" to erosion from Chlorine, Bromine or Salt in the water. Also, the Titanium heat exchanger is oversized to improve efficiency and make the Dura Heat Pump even more cost effective and great value for money.
Easy Installation
The Dura Swimming Pool Heat Pump is designed intelligently and exceptionally compact for ease of installation. One of the simple but handy design additions on the Dura Heat Pump is the integrated flow switch which will sense the water flow and automatically start the heater when the pool pump starts and stop it when the pump shuts off. Simple, but very handy. Also the larger sizes, 21T 25T and dura+ 32, come in 3-Phase.
State Of The Art Control
The integrated microprocessor in the Dura Swimming Pool Heat Pump monitors all the sensors and controls the device without any intervention needed by the user. Electronic display and control with easy operation is standard on all Dura Swimming Pool Heat Pumps.
Quiet Running
The Dura Heat Pumps use of a highly efficient, low sound compressor, a low noise fan and an oversized heat exchanger on every unit, makes the Dura Heat Pump extremely quiet in operation. The DURA 8 at 1m distance creates only 51dB(A) and at 10m distance gives only 32 db(A).
